Hello, Disney fans!

Zenfinity Disney Resort Update

Week of July 6–13, 2026

Pirates of the Caribbean is still stealing the show, anytime park hopping has become the new normal, and the 70th Celebration clock is ticking toward its August finale. ⚓️☀️

🎉 THE BIG PICTURE THIS WEEK

Disneyland Resort heads into the week of July 6 in a wonderfully settled summer groove. The big operational shift — anytime park hopping — is no longer news so much as it is simply how a day at the resort works now, and guests are making full use of it. Pirates of the Caribbean continues to be the ride story of the season after its June 26 reopening introduced a brand-new effect. And with the 70th Celebration down to just a few weeks remaining, the resort has a gentle sense of countdown energy that makes every visit feel a little more worth savoring. Here is your full rundown.

🏰 DISNEYLAND PARK

Pirates of the Caribbean — Still the Ride to Prioritize

If you have not yet experienced the updated Pirates of the Caribbean since its June 26 reopening, this is your reminder to make it a priority. Walt Disney Imagineering used the refurbishment to add something genuinely new: in the treasure grotto scene, a pirate figure now shifts from human form to skeleton and back again, blending projection-mapping with mechanical animation in a way the attraction has never done before. For a classic that has been sailing for nearly six decades, it is a remarkable addition. Move it to the front of your day if it is not already there.

Park Hopping Anytime — Still the Season’s Best Policy

Now into its second month, the anytime park hopping rule has fully settled into the resort’s daily rhythm. Guests holding Park Hopper tickets or Magic Keys can move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure at any point during the day, subject to capacity and reservations. What was once the lead policy story is now just how summer at Disneyland works — and that is a genuinely good thing. If you are planning a visit and have not yet tried a full hop day under the new rules, this is the ideal time.

70th Celebration — Final Weeks Approaching

The Disneyland 70th Celebration continues through August 9, keeping anniversary entertainment, special decor, and limited-edition merchandise in focus across the park. With the finish line now just a few weeks out, this is genuinely one of the last chances to experience the full anniversary atmosphere before it gives way to HalloweenTime in late August.

🌈 DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

Disney California Adventure remains in a quieter post-festival summer pattern following the Food & Wine Festival’s close on April 27. Regular dining, seasonal menu items, and 70th Celebration moments fill the space that festival marketplaces used to occupy, and no new festival replacement has been announced for this week. The good news is structural: with anytime hopping fully active, DCA works best right now as a flexible second-stop destination rather than something you have to fully commit to from rope drop. Let the day tell you when to cross over.

🔑 MAGIC KEY — RENEWAL DINING CARD & SUMMER SAVINGS

Renewal Dining Card — Still Your Move to Make

This continues to be the Magic Key perk most worth acting on. On-time renewals made between May 27, 2026 and May 26, 2027 unlock a complimentary Disney Dining Card, with the value tiered by pass level: Inspire Key $100, Believe Key $75, Explore Key $50, Imagine Key $25. The card arrives by email within 72 hours of renewal and works at participating Disneyland Resort dining locations — though not at Downtown Disney restaurants, so plan accordingly. If your renewal window is open, do not let this one slip past you.

Standard Magic Key Benefits

All the usual Magic Key perks remain in place alongside the dining card: select dining and merchandise discounts, PhotoPass benefits on eligible tiers, and reservation-based park admission. Nothing has changed on the standard benefits side this week.

🏰 DOWNTOWN DISNEY — STEADY SUMMER ENERGY

Downtown Disney remains the resort’s most accessible no-ticket option for a meal, a coffee stop, or a shopping browse. The core lineup stays steady: World of Disney, The D-Lander Shop, Beignets Expressed, Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, Salt & Straw, Parkside Market, Disney Storyland Boutique, and Nectar Life. With anytime park hopping now fully normalized, the District pairs naturally as a mid-day break between parks or a relaxed evening wind-down without the need for a park ticket. No major new openings or policy changes alter the picture this week.

🏨 RESORT HOTELS — SUMMER DISCOUNT STILL RUNNING

The resort’s summer room offer remains the top hotel headline: up to 25% off select stays of four nights or more at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, plus up to 15% off at Pixar Place Hotel, all through September 7, 2026. Popular summer weekends will tighten as Oogie Boogie Bash approaches in August, so this is a smart window to lock in a stay if one is on your radar.

On the dining side, Goofy’s Kitchen, Storytellers Cafe, GCH Craftsman Bar, Sketch Pad Café, and Small Bytes continue to anchor the on-property food scene with no major new additions this week.

🎢 ATTRACTIONS — CLOSURES & WHAT TO KNOW

Current Closure Snapshot

Check the Disneyland app the morning of your visit for the most current status:

Silly Symphony Swings (DCA) — Closed since April 27, no return date announced

King Arthur Carrousel — Closed since June 6, no return date announced

Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition — Closed since June 6, no return date announced

Indiana Jones Adventure, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Millennium Falcon, Radiator Springs Racers, Incredicoaster, Toy Story Midway Mania, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, Grizzly River Run, and Galaxy’s Edge are all open and running this week.

🛍️ MERCHANDISE — 70TH CELEBRATION & SUMMER STOCK

The merchandise story this week is the same one that has anchored shelves all summer: the 70th Celebration and seasonal resort inventory. No single new drop is dominating this week, but the anniversary’s final stretch is making the Finale Collection — anniversary apparel, collectibles, and limited-edition resort items — feel increasingly time-sensitive. With August 9 approaching, if a 70th keepsake is on your list, the clock is running.
