Hello, Disney fans!

Zenfinity Disney Resort Update

Week of July 27–August 3, 2026

The 70th Celebration has one final week left — this is your last call for the food, the merch, and the magic before Halloween Time takes over. 🎉🍧

🎉 THE BIG PICTURE THIS WEEK

This is the one. The Disneyland 70th Celebration ends August 9, and this week is your genuine last real window to experience everything that has made this year-long anniversary so special — the limited-time food, the Finale Collection merchandise, the entertainment, and the atmosphere that simply will not exist in the same way once Halloween Time arrives. If you have been putting off a visit, the clock just ran out on waiting. This week we’re leading with what’s still on the table before it’s gone, and what’s coming next to keep the excitement rolling.

🍧 LAST CALL: 70TH CELEBRATION BITES WORTH GETTING NOW

If you have not made your way through the 70th anniversary food lineup yet, this is the week to fix that. The celebration’s culinary offerings have been one of its quiet highlights all year, and they disappear with the event on August 9. Here are the ones still worth tracking down:

In Disneyland Park

Mickey Hat Cookie — available at Jolly Holiday Bakery Café, Market House, and select locations. A simple, nostalgic bite that has quietly become one of the celebration’s signature treats.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Flop-Over — from Café Daisy, one of the most-talked-about savory items of the year. Worth the trip down Main Street for a meal stop.

Mickey-Shaped Celebration Waffles — a festive breakfast option that leans into the anniversary energy without taking itself too seriously.

Glittery Churros — because a 70th anniversary without a sparkly churro would simply be wrong.

Keep in Mind

The Disneyland app’s event guide lists current food locations and availability. Items can sell out or rotate, so check the morning of your visit for the most current picture.

🛍️ LAST CALL: 70TH FINALE COLLECTION — FINAL DAYS

Disney released the 70th Celebration Finale Collection specifically for these closing weeks, and it is the most elevated merchandise drop of the entire anniversary run. The collection features apparel and accessories with Swarovski crystals, rich purple colorways, trading pins, and Sleeping Beauty Castle–inspired pieces. There is also a new chapter of the Vault Collection arriving alongside it, bringing pixie-dust-charm items for collectors. Find it at Elias & Co. and World of Disney while stock lasts — and it will not last long once August 9 arrives.

🏰 DISNEYLAND PARK — ENTERTAINMENT & ATTRACTIONS

Paint the Night & Wondrous Journeys — Extended Through August 20

Good news for anyone who does not make it before August 9: Paint the Night and Wondrous Journeys have both been extended through August 20, giving guests an extra stretch of time to catch the two flagship 70th entertainment offerings even after the celebration officially closes. World of Color – ONE returns August 10 as they transition into Halloween season programming. If you have not seen Paint the Night yet, this extension is your grace period.

Anytime Park Hopping — Still Running

Park hopping anytime remains fully in effect for guests with Park Hopper tickets or Magic Keys. Move between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure freely throughout the day, subject to capacity and reservations. With so much to cover before the 70th closes, the flexible hop schedule is more useful than ever this week.

Current Closure Snapshot

Silly Symphony Swings (DCA) — Ongoing, no return date announced

King Arthur Carrousel — Ongoing, no return date announced

Frontierland Shootin’ Exposition — Ongoing, no return date announced

Cozy Cone Motel 3 – Chili Cone Queso (DCA) — Short July closure window

Check the Disneyland app the morning of your visit for day-of status on all attractions.

🎈 DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE — 25TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

Here is a story that deserves more attention than it has been getting: Disney California Adventure is celebrating its own 25th birthday in 2026, and the park is marking it with some genuine festivity. Minnie and Mickey are appearing in special 25th birthday outfits near Carthay Circle, celebration foods are available throughout the park, and 25th birthday merchandise has joined the lineup alongside the ongoing 70th Celebration items. If you are hopping over to DCA this week, keep an eye out for the birthday energy — it adds a nice layer to what has otherwise been a steady, well-paced summer park.

🏨 RESORT HOTELS — SUMMER PROGRAMMING IN FULL SWING

This is the week to pay attention to what the resort hotels are actually doing, because the programming lineup is genuinely strong right now and easy to miss if you are only focused on the parks.

Dug’s Dance Party! — Pixar Place Hotel

Running Friday evenings through August 28, Dug’s Dance Party! is one of the more charming hotel-exclusive experiences at the resort right now. Pair it with a stay or dinner reservation at Sketch Pad Café.

Disney Poolside Splash Bash! — All Three Hotels

Sundays and Thursdays through September 6, all three Disneyland Resort hotels are hosting Disney Poolside Splash Bash! It is a resort-only perk worth planning around if a hotel stay is on your agenda.

Joe Gardner Piano Appearances — Pixar Place Hotel

Joe Gardner from Soul is making character appearances and drawing classes are running at Sketch Pad Café, making Pixar Place Hotel a particularly fun destination for families with young kids this month.

Disneyland Hotel & Grand Californian

Outdoor movie nights, friendship bracelet making, and washcloth animal programs are all part of the July hotel activity lineup. The summer room offer still applies: up to 25% off select stays of four nights or more at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, plus up to 15% off at Pixar Place Hotel, all through September 7, 2026.

🔑 MAGIC KEY — DINING CARD STILL AVAILABLE

On-time renewals between May 27, 2026 and May 26, 2027 unlock a complimentary Disney Dining Card: Inspire Key $100, Believe Key $75, Explore Key $50, Imagine Key $25. Arrives by email within 72 hours of renewal; valid at participating resort dining locations but not Downtown Disney. All standard Magic Key perks remain active.

🏛️ DOWNTOWN DISNEY — THE NEW LINEUP IS NOW YOUR NORMAL

After last week’s major openings, Downtown Disney has settled into its exciting new normal: Gordon Ramsay at The Carnaby and Earl of Sandwich’s new permanent home are both fully operational, Happy Ice is serving up Philadelphia-style Italian water ice in its permanent spot, and Big Boi Lumpia is bringing Filipino flavors to the cart lineup. The district has not been this dining-dense in years. No major new openings this specific week, but the full new roster is still worth your readers’ attention if they have not visited since the recent additions.
