✹ Zenfinity Disney Resort Update

Week of July 13–20, 2026

The 70th Celebration enters its final stretch, the Earl of Sandwich is officially open at Downtown Disney, and anytime park hopping keeps making summer visits easier than ever. đŸŽ–ïžâ˜€ïž

🎉 THE BIG PICTURE THIS WEEK

July 13 brings something genuinely fresh to the Disneyland Resort experience: the Earl of Sandwich has opened its doors at Downtown Disney, giving the district a crowd-pleasing new dining option that guests have been anticipating. That is the new headline this week. Meanwhile, the resort’s summer rhythm continues in full force — Pirates of the Caribbean’s updated effect remains one of the best reasons to head into Disneyland Park, anytime park hopping has become second nature for guests, and the 70th Celebration is now in its final three weeks before the August 9 closing. Here is everything worth knowing before your next visit.

🏰 DOWNTOWN DISNEY — EARL OF SANDWICH IS HERE

Earl of Sandwich — Now Open

The headline addition to Downtown Disney this week is the opening of Earl of Sandwich. The beloved quick-service chain — known for its hot, toasted sandwiches, wraps, and salads — is now officially part of the Downtown Disney dining lineup, and it fills a genuine gap in the district’s quick, affordable dining options. Whether you’re grabbing a bite before heading into the parks or winding down after a long day, it is a welcome new stop. Expect lines to be enthusiastic in these early weeks, so build in a little extra time if this is on your to-do list.

The Rest of the District

The full Downtown Disney lineup continues to serve as the resort’s easiest no-ticket dining and shopping destination. Core stops include World of Disney, The D-Lander Shop, Beignets Expressed, Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, Salt & Straw, Parkside Market, Disney Storyland Boutique, and Nectar Life. With anytime park hopping now fully normalized, the District pairs especially well as a relaxed mid-day break between parks or a low-key evening wind-down.

🏰 DISNEYLAND PARK

Pirates of the Caribbean — Still the Must-Ride of the Summer

Pirates of the Caribbean continues to be the standout attraction story of the season. Since its June 26 reopening, the attraction has been wowing guests with its new treasure grotto effect: a pirate figure transforms from human form to skeleton and back again using projection-mapping and mechanical animation — a genuinely new beat in a nearly 60-year-old classic. If it is still on your to-do list, make it a priority. This is exactly the kind of update that makes a return visit feel fresh.

70th Celebration — Final Three Weeks

The Disneyland 70th Celebration runs through August 9, which means guests heading to the resort this week are in the true final stretch of the anniversary event. Anniversary entertainment, special decor, and the 70th merchandise collection are all still fully in play across the park. If there is a keepsake, a show, or an experience tied to the celebration that is still on your list, this is the window to make it happen before Halloween Time takes over in late August.

Anytime Park Hopping — Your Best Planning Tool

Now in its sixth week, anytime park hopping has settled in so thoroughly that it barely needs an introduction anymore — but it is still worth the reminder for first-time summer visitors. Guests with Park Hopper tickets or Magic Keys can move freely between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure at any point during the day, subject to capacity and reservations. Build your day around what you want to do, not around an arbitrary clock.

🌈 DISNEY CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE

Disney California Adventure is in a clean, steady summer groove — no spring festival crowds, no major new events competing for attention, just the park operating at its summer best. Regular dining, seasonal menu items, and 70th Celebration overlap keep the experience full without the complexity of festival season. With anytime hopping unlocked, DCA continues to work beautifully as a flexible destination you can drop into at any point in the day rather than one you need to commit to from the start.

🔑 MAGIC KEY — RENEWAL DINING CARD & PERKS

Renewal Dining Card — Still Worth Claiming

The Magic Key renewal dining card remains one of the most straightforward perks at the resort right now. On-time renewals made between May 27, 2026 and May 26, 2027 include a complimentary Disney Dining Card scaled by tier: Inspire Key $100, Believe Key $75, Explore Key $50, Imagine Key $25. The card arrives by email within 72 hours of renewal and works at participating Disneyland Resort dining locations — note that it is not valid at Downtown Disney restaurants, so use it wisely inside the resort. If your renewal window is open, do not let this one sit unclaimed.

Standard Magic Key Benefits

All standard Magic Key perks remain active: dining and merchandise discounts, PhotoPass benefits on eligible tiers, and reservation-based park admission. Nothing has changed on the benefits side this week.

🏹 RESORT HOTELS — SUMMER DISCOUNT STILL RUNNING

The summer room offer continues to be the hotel headline: up to 25% off select stays of four nights or more at Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, plus up to 15% off at Pixar Place Hotel, all through September 7, 2026. With Oogie Boogie Bash kicking off August 18 and summer weekends filling up, this is a smart window to lock in a stay before availability tightens further.

Hotel dining anchors remain Goofy’s Kitchen, Storytellers Cafe, GCH Craftsman Bar, Sketch Pad CafĂ©, and Small Bytes, with no major new on-property additions this week.

đŸ›ïž MERCHANDISE — 70TH FINALE COLLECTION

With the 70th Celebration down to its final three weeks, the merchandise story is taking on real urgency. Anniversary apparel, collectibles, and the Finale Collection items are still widely available across the resort, but August 9 is coming fast. If a 70th keepsake has been on your radar, now is the time to act before selections thin out in the final days of the celebration.
